RF Capture and Playback Suite
Closed-Loop
Advanced RF Signal
Simulation System
The RF Capture
and Playback Suite
provides RF design
engineers
the flexibility and
versatility to simulate,
analyze, record and
modify advanced RF
signals in most any
environment: the
field or the lab.
Test times are reduced,
but performance is
still assured with
this scalable system,
which has an unrivaled
5 GHz transmit bandwidth
and real-time spectrum
analysis at carrier
frequencies up to
14 GHz.
X-COM Systems
leverages its proven
knowledge of military
radar systems with
Tektronix world-class
test-and-measurement
expertise to create
a COTS real-time
RF signal monitoring
and analysis test
system that is
unmatched.
The closed-loop
system
consists of the following
products:
The
diagram above shows
how
an
initial waveform
is created using
an AWG7000 or
WaveCAFE™ software.
This
waveform is then
transferred
to the radar
system where it is
broadcast.
The return signal
is passed onto
the scope or captured
directly from
the RF spectrum via
the
RSA6100a. Up
to
3 terabytes of
the captured data
can
be stored to
the RTC1 real-time
capture
device. Data
from
the IQC1040 can
be imported into
WaveCAFE™
for
analysis or modification.
The data files
can be loaded to
the
DX-10G for playback
or system emulation.
Features:
- Simulate
- Create advanced wide bandwidth waveforms with 10 GS/s
sample rates
- Analyze
- Simultaneously display, dynamically update, and
plot results in multiple analysis windows using
both the time and frequency domains
- Analyze bandwidths of up to 8 GHz or more with the DPO7000
- Record/Playback
- Record I&Q directly from real-time spectrum
analyzer
- Up to 90 minutes of I&Q playback at 110 MHz full span
- Modify
- No Programming Required; use menu-driven interfaces
to create precise waveforms by selecting the type
of waveform and entering the associated parameters
- Design IIR, FIR or custom filters
- Capture
- Tektronix DPX® displays transients as short
as 24 µs with 100% probability of intercept
- All signals in up to 110 MHz spans are captured into memory
- Trigger
- Tektronix exclusive 40 MHz and 110 MHz frequency
mask triggers (FMT) offer easy event-based capture
of transient RF signals by triggering on any change
in the frequency domain
