The XBER-4 Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS) Type E Serial Switch Bit-Error Rate Tester (BERT) tests the quality of transparent switch channels.

As part of X-COM’s line of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) NTDS solutions, the rackmountable XBER-4 can significantly reduce maintenance time and effort. The XBER-4 enables the user to troubleshoot and quickly identify switch channels that do not meet minimum BER requirements. It is designed to cost-effectively meet the unique needs of today’s NTDS development, evaluation, and training environments.
